Emily & Geoff

This was such a casual and relaxed wedding, right from the bride's preparations until the end of the event after midnight.

Emily was one of the calmest brides I have witnessed getting ready, with the minimum of fuss with a couple of friends.

This wedding also allowed me to photograph at one of my favourite churches, the 14th century St. Apolline's Chapel.   A charming venue that suited this wedding perfectly.  Geoff met Emily outside the chapel and they entered together for the ceremony.

It was surprising how many people did fit inside, complete with a choir of four.

After leaving we made our way to The Venue for the reception, via a quick stop at Fermain for some pictures.

The informality continued with the speeches, the star of the show was Finley reading a poem.

A stunning cake and  rings were photographed while people had their meal.

The young lads kept their energy throughout the day.

Emily and Geoff had a beautiful first dance before being joined for some fun by everyone else.

A picture that tells a story through showing only part of the scene...

We also had a chance to have a play at night to see what photographs we could come up with, an opportunity I always enjoy.  This was one of the resulting images.

Bright pulsing lights from the DJ can give some problems with getting consistent exposures, but they can also give opportunities.

Some more dancing saw out the wedding day with a finish after midnight.  This completed a truly beautiful day.
