Jacqueline & Christopher - Dixcart Bay, Sark

Sark is one of my favourite places, so it is always exciting to go there for a wedding. What a beautiful wedding Jack & Chris had, with the ceremony on Dixcart Bay.

Jack got ready at La Moinerie, with her parents and sister, plus of course her two lovely dogs.

Michelle Perrée was waiting with a horse and carriage to take them to the path on the way to Dixcart Bay.

Chris got ready at Stocks Hotel with his parents, they then walked to a viewpoint above Dixcart, where both parties met up. The parents remained at the top of the cliffs to watch the ceremony take place on the beach.

A breath taking view of the beach as we emerged from the wooded valley. Jackie Ward of White Dove conducted a beautiful ceremony in this splendid setting. I had to remain close as I also had to be a witness for the marriage!

We walked back up to the viewpoint to be welcomed by a confetti aisle! Then we made our way to La Coupée for some pictures. The wedding party had the horse and carriage, myself and my assistant JP used hired bikes. After taking our photos at this iconic viewpoint the next stop was Hathaway’s at Le Seigneurie for the reception.

After the meal we naturally took a walk with Jack & Chris through the Seigneurie gardens.

We re-convened in the evening for some further pictures, Sark is so beautiful there are plenty of options. Bikes enabled us to visit several sites. We were hoping for clear skies for a Milky Way shot with the Coupée, but clouds from the earlier band of heavy rain gave us different opportunities.

Such a unique and special wedding day. Congratulations to Jack & Chris.
