About me...

The aim of my photography is to make images with emotion and feeling, this applies to pictures of people as well as landscapes.  My work is internationally renowned and covers a wide range of topics; I not only shoot weddings and other people orientated images, but also cover commercial assignments and the beauty of the outdoors with my landscape photography.

I am accredited to the Wedding Photojournalists Association, an international body dedicated to the highest standards of documentary wedding photography. It was an honour to be ranked 12th worldwide in 2013 with them, showcasing my excellent standards of photography.

I proudly serve on one of the Royal Photographic Society's Distinction panels, and have been a Fellow since 1993 with a panel of my seascapes, mostly taken of Guernsey´s coastlines. In fact, I was a pioneer in the technique of long exposures for landscape photography. Although my Fellowship was through landscapes in colour work, my monochrome photography is to an equally high standard. I was awarded the Ilford/AP Printer of the Year in 2000, with my winning black and white portfolio exhibited in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

I have won numerous awards at international level, including a category win in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year and the Photographic Society of America Photo-Journalist of the Year, as well as many medals in exhibitions around the world. With my photography, you can be assured of both drive and talent, with a huge experience of producing the very best work for over 30 years.

My wife, Karen, is also a highly experienced and accomplished photographer herself, being awarded an Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society in 1994. I often draw on her talents during weddings, where we work together to produce the best photography of your special day.
